Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. She believes that she is an artist first and foremost. At the age of 9 of age, she was dabbling into music. At the age 12, she had taken the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. In the age of 13, she began making music. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. It hasn't turned around ever since. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. Although she spoke only English as a child and never been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the heritage, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs that incorporate the language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," a song she composed in Spanish. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the judges at the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube entry. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged during the week of 5th.
