Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world in just three releases. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three occasions.
