Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and writer. Sara Ramirez was brought up by her American mother and was subjected to a variety of racist taunts, which caused her to feel uncomfortable. It was in her ninth grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim during an audition. This experience did not just help the confidence of her, but also altered her goals in life. She was a graduate of New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail, were her biggest breakthroughs. The biggest success of her career came when she played The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's initial Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to get the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by reviewers. She gained more recognition for her appearance on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. As a well-known singer, she has also released both an album and a musical. Additionally, she works as a LGBT activist.
